A managed private cloud is a private cloud that Accrets builds, hosts and runs for you. You get dedicated virtual servers in Tier 3 data centres, and we look after the infrastructure underneath. You keep ownership of your data and the applications on your virtual machines. This page sets out what we manage, what you keep, the availability commitment, disaster recovery, onboarding and pricing.

ToggleWhat is a managed private cloud?
A private cloud is cloud infrastructure used by a single organisation. “Managed” means a provider runs it on your behalf, so your IT team does not have to operate the hardware and platform itself. If you want the definition and the main types first, read what a private cloud is.
Accrets International is a Singapore-based managed service provider. Our managed private cloud suits teams that need isolated, predictable infrastructure for business applications such as SAP and CRM systems, without building an in-house operations team.
What Accrets manages and what you keep
We manage the infrastructure layers. You own the workloads and the data on them.
| Area | Accrets | You |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware and data centre hosting | Managed by us | None |
| Virtualisation platform | Managed by us | None |
| Monitoring and security of the platform | Managed by us | None |
| Operating system management (add-on) | Managed by us when you add it | Yours if you do not add it |
| Data backup to enterprise storage (add-on) | Managed by us when you add it | Yours if you do not add it |
| Virtual machines (VMs) and applications | Provisioned by us | Your workloads |
| Your data | Hosted by us | Owned and kept by you |
Operating system management and data backup to enterprise storage are add-ons. When you add them, we manage them too, so you can hand over the whole stack. The private cloud hosting prices page shows what each plan includes.
Availability and support
We offer a 99.5% availability SLA for a single virtual server. System up and down monitoring is included in every plan, together with a help desk and an assigned service lead. You also receive periodic reports on infrastructure performance.
We run our service processes in line with ITIL and ISO practices.
Data centres and disaster recovery
We host private clouds in several Tier 3 data centres, which we use as production and disaster recovery sites.
Disaster recovery is a separate subscription. Clients who subscribe get a recovery plan and a rehearsal, typically once a year, so the plan is tested before it is needed. See IT DR as a Service for the details.
Onboarding and migration
A new VM subscription is usually ready in 3 to 5 working days. Moving existing workloads takes longer, and the duration depends on the total number of VMs. We agree the plan with you before any cut-over, and we do not promise a fixed migration date until we know the scope.
Pricing
Plans are billed monthly as an operating expense. Starting prices for Windows and Linux plans, and the options you can add, are on the private cloud hosting prices page. For a design that does not fit a standard plan, tell us what you need and we will quote it.
Who uses it
Our clients include organisations in finance, manufacturing, transport and online trading.
